Good times at Trax Cafe last week with Chef Steve Waxman, Mixologist Tom Pittakas, and the crew from Trax. Steve’s food paired with Tom’s drinks exceeded expectations. I was very happy I got to try almost everything on the menu that night.
Steve has relaxed in the kitchen with age while his culinary talents continue to grow. It was fun running out to pick fresh basil from the garden for the kitchen throughout the night. I loved the gazpacho and filet… Can not wait to go back for dinner again soon.
Everything Tom made blew me away. When I worked with Tom at Alison Two, I was either pregnant or breast feeding and was not able to try any of his creations. Totally worth the wait. Tom’s drinks are the best.
